Ok thanks to Reid from Smart Home solver for the title, but it's true. I bought this at the current deal in The UK after seeing many YouTube videos about it (Paul hibbert , stu's reviews etc) and watching it closely since its initial announcement, as very keen to have a solution that doesn't include refilling and manual emptying of dirty water . It was a little bit of a hard sell for my other half and rightly so because it's not cheap, however, we have two children under five who regularly are leave our house covered in sand, mud and other detritus as well as all the mess that comes from feeding them at the dinner table. After just a few days she was completely sold. Clean up usually takes around 15-20 minutes each day just to stay on top of things. Time that is better spent elsewhere. With the S10, I simply have to pick up their toys and set it to go. When I come back down from putting them to bed everything is clean and I don't have to pick bits of food and other rubbish out of my socks. It's genuinely brilliant and although this mop could perhaps be stronger (i'm sure this will be in the next iteration) it does a perfectly decent job and just means I have to get the Steam mop out less regularly to fully cleanse and sterilise the floor. I think even my cleaner was impressed.

The model I bought also came with the manual fill water tanks and a water leak sensor. I don't know whether these will be included in the final model and it appears that these were part of the initial Kickstarter packs, so I'm very grateful for those. You may have to pay extra
My ultimate aim is to install the water unit under the floating sink in my downstairs bathroom and put an actuator on my cupboard door so that opens and closes automatically it does everything automatically once I leave the house.

As of right now, the only downsides are:
- it's quite a heavy unit, so as it moves around there's a low rumble which can be heard upstairs. I don't think there's any getting away from that though and when the vacuum element fires up louder on carpet. It's particularly loud compared to the background noise it makes if it's on hard surfaces.
If it's on hard surfaces. I don't think we'll use it at night for this reason, but it's perfectly good to use in the evening when putting the kids to bed or when we leave the house.
-with it is that it can't mop my upstairs. It wasn't very clear about this on the instructions and no mention on any reviews. You can however simply place it on the 1st floor and it automaps itself and will vacuum until the battery runs out. I'm I'm still experimenting with this at the moment and you need to pretty much ensure it's put down in the same place every time you set it to run. I'm also assured by which bot that they are working on a mopping solution for a first floor which may include ensuring it is full before it does a mop on that section of the map.

Overall very impressed and although it hasn't been cheap I'm hoping it's a really good investment just to give me time back for both my children and my family.

As a woman living alone, I was a bit nervous at first, but following the guide, I managed to set up the water station and everything else without any trouble.
It automatically tells the difference between floors and carpets, and it really doesn’t mop the carpet areas, so I can use it without worrying. It lights up like little eyes when it’s cleaning in tight spaces, which is just adorable!
The app’s restricted zone feature is a lifesaver! I set the pet feeding area and the toilet as restricted zones, and it smartly avoids those spots. So impressive!
I’ve always been concerned about the space under the sofa, but this thing cleans it thoroughly, and it’s such a relief! At first, I thought the water exchange station might be in the way, but it’s actually quite small and unobtrusive, only going there during cleaning. It can automatically exchange water, and it even dries the mop by itself. It’s amazing how you can complete all your floor cleaning tasks just by using the app—it’s like living in the future! I’m so blown away...!
If you’re on the fence, I absolutely recommend it.

I loved my K10+ so much, I didn’t think twice about ordering the S10. It’s surpassed my expectations and I can’t wait to see what the other products in this line up have in store for us ☺️

In our home, we have the main unit in the living room and the water station set up in the laundry room. Even if the vacuum main unit and the water station are placed a bit apart, the app automatically recognizes them! Isn’t that amazing?
If you follow the instructions and use the included parts to connect the washing machine's water supply and drainage pipes, it’s not difficult at all.
We had it clean once right away, and the floor became really clean. Fully automatic, exciting, and fantastic!

The S10 arrived and we unpacked the box.
It was incredibly well packaged with transit safety fully considered.

We set up the charging station with ease and decided to plumb in the water fill unit properly (so we didn’t need the water fill & discharge tower).
When I say “properly” I mean it! We took the base board off from under the cupboard that’s under the kitchen sink. My other half built a wooden jig that stopped the S10 from pushing the water fill unit away and out of place. They cut the base board to create a “docking cavern entrance” and plumbed in the unit to the mains water and the drains. We absolutely love this feature and think it’s really clever.
It took a bit of messing about to get the plumbing right, but that was more to do with our under sink cupboard and the spaghetti junction of plumbing for dual drain sink, washing machine and dishwasher! There were plenty of plumbing fitments provided to try.

Once all done, the app guided us easily through the floor mapping process. The S10 now had a plan!

Of course we set it off straight away to see what it could do.

The floor was simultaneously hoovered and mopped without leaving massive wet patches and the floor dried so quickly. The S10 coped really well with the rug in the living room (it doesn’t mop carpets) and coped with the transition easily.

We have the S10 automated for once a day. It mops 3 times a week. We’ve noticed that the hard flooring has improved over the few weeks we’ve had it. We have vinyl in the kitchen and LVP everywhere else downstairs with rugs scattered throughout. The “little but often” approach to mopping is definitely improving everywhere.

The S10 copes with navigating around objects quite well and ensures that they are not “cleaned” by it. But it does have its limitations.

We have once accidentally left a pair of trainers on the floor and although the shoes were avoided the laces were not, things got a bit tangled and the shoe went travelling with the S10. That’s our fault not the S10’s. I now make sure things are off the floor each morning!

We have a roomba too and that has now been promoted to the first floor. There is a feature that the roomba has that the S10 does not, that I do think is a missed trick. That’s the spot clean button on the unit.

You can achieve the same result with the S10 but you have to set an area in the app. The S10 HATES being picked up and moved. It’s a bit of a faff setting up a cleaning area when the unit could be picked up, moved to the location and a button pressed to do a spot clean. But we are learning and adapting.

The app is fairly intuitive. You can edit the floor plan a little to make it fit fully. But there could be some further improvements made to the edit functionality.

We have a coffee table in the middle of the living room. It was too heavy to move out of the way completely when the S10 was mapping. So we now have a white space in the map for where the table is. We can’t get rid of that white space in the app because the functionality isn’t there, but it could be useful.

The app allows you to pick & choose whether you vac or vac & mop, if mopping whether it’s a light mop or heavier mop, if vacuuming whether it goes right into the corners or not, and a completely customisable schedule.

Once the S10 has finished a round, it takes itself off to its charging station and empties itself. There is a dust bag in the charging station that collects the debris.

The noise of the suction to get the dust away from the S10 into the collection bin in the charging station is quite loud and surprising. It’s made me jump a couple of times and our pet house rabbit has been frightened by it.

That’s when the mop drying process starts. We’re trialling a 3 hour drying cycle for now. We may change that in future.

In the round we love the S10 & it being so clever.
Whatever chaos is going on in our lives, we always know we have clean floors! It makes me feel virtuous when I haven’t lifted a finger!

I used to use a Quickle Wiper and a regular vacuum, but there's no going back now.
I searched on Sakura Checker and saw that this product was approved, so I trusted it and made the purchase, which was a good decision.
Since I have a cat, my floor was always covered with hair.
By running the robot just once or twice a day, my floors have become spotless.
It was my first robot vacuum cleaner, and I got it at a sale price.
I was undecided about getting one with an automatic garbage collection feature, but since I only need to empty it every 2-3 days, the simpler model was fine.
There were some reviews saying the mopping feature wasn't great, but for me, it's fantastic. It gets cleaner than when I do it myself.
According to the cleaning report on the app, it has operated for 10 hours in a single week. That’s a lot more than I could ever clean myself.
No wonder it’s so clean!

I was one of the early Kickstarter backers, and was a little sceptical about the S10. I have SwitchBots curtain robots and love them... so went for it! So far I have been amazed by the design and technology in the S10. It does exactly what it says it does, doing a good job at mopping with the choice to mop twice at 90 degrees to the first mop path, so to not miss a spot. The vacuum even on its lowest setting picks of soo much dirt. I've even ran the vacuum twice in one day and still it was picking up fine dust. I will do a rigorous test soon to be on YouTube. Highly recommended.

I can't compare the quietness to other models as I haven't used them, but it doesn't particularly bother me, and the suction power is satisfactory.
It's nice to be able to start and stop it with Alexa.
I'm looking forward to enhancing comfort through integration with other SwitchBot products.
