I tried multiple curtain solutions before, each with their specific issues. But the SwitchBot Curtain 3 did exactly what was promised, and delivered on everything I wanted.
Two things can be improved :
1. The motor noise could still be lower (I read it was an improvement to the version 2, don’t want to know how loud that was), but over het used to it quite fast.
2. The solar ‘panels’ could provide more charge, but hey, better than not having the extra juice.
But for everything else I am extremely satisfied. Installation was sub-5 minute, integration with HomeKit with the Hub 2 matter support was easy, and both curtains now open and close both with automated routines or remote button pushes, as well as manual commands or Siri requests. And that without a hitch for the past 3 weeks (that I use them).
Highly recommended !

They simply WORK! Used Switchbot Curtain Rod 2 to close my curtains via the App from 300 miles away last week when I was travelling for a few days.

Blind remote is a great addition to the smart blind ecosystem. Pairing it was a breeze and its operation is very simple.

These are a big improvement on the version 1 units. Setting the 2 units up was a breeze with the latest firmware and I didn’t even have to worry about the pressure on the rails as these are self adjusting.
I will be ordering more of these for my other windows to run along side my blind tilts.

Bought it to open / close my curtains, does exactly what it's supposed to do. Also - easy setup.
