The majority of deadlock rim lock latches in the UK are either Union or Union sold under other names. They all and seem to be without exception fitted with small tapered levers rather than thumb turns. I am in the course of attempting to adapt one of your largest thumturn adapters and to best centre it over the axis of the lever. I can report further in due course. If you can provide an adapter to fit my lever please let me know.

I have been wanting something like this for ages, my front door is one that doesn't lock unless you have a key and sometimes my children come home when we're not there and need to get in but never remember to take their keys with them, so this way they just put their finger print on it and da-dah they're in!

my only constructive criticism is that it is bulky and because it's on the front door does look a bit of an eye sore - however what it does stops those thoughts.

My favourite bit is that at night time when I can't remember if I've locked the door (because it doesn't auto lock) and don't want to get out of my warm bed, is to ask Alexa if it is locked and then if it isn't, she can lock it for me. Brilliant (obviously this is with the hub attached)

I bought this Switchbot lock because I wanted a smart lock but I didn't want the hassle of changing out my existing lock. This worked out perfectly. I got the lock, touch Keypad and mini hub combo which you'll need if you want to be able to access the lock or door lock status remotely. Installation was pretty simple. The only thing I was a little frustrated with was that the installation video links were not included in the manual and I had to go looking for them. Also, the tool to open the battery door of the keypad was included but they didn't say in the manual what it is supposed to be used for and that was a little frustrating too. But once I found the installation videos everything became clear and from then on it was so simple to install and set up. Now I can lock/unlock the door from anywhere I have an internet connection. I have multiple ways to lock/unlock the door. And I can check to ensure that I've locked the door from anywhere with an internet connection. And I can still use my existing key in case of emergencies or when there's a power outage. All without drilling fresh holes in my door. I love this product

Extremely easy to install, and 0 invasive. No need to remove your old locks to make your house smarter. It also includes a magnet that works as a sensor to detect if the door is open or close. Calibration was a breeze and so far it has worked flawlessly. Just be mindful you��ll have to buy some CR123A 3V Batteries whenever the included ones run out (I mention this because it��s not a common battery type you have spare at home).

I mean not much else to say. I am blown away. For how much heat these guys get on some reviews�� wow was I skeptical. Minor flaws don��t mean a thing in this smart home world. It��s all new. Let��s not forget that. Everything is a work in progress, and holy crap do these guys improve on everything. Everything I thought was going to go wrong for how cheap everything they sell is has not gone wrong. It just works so smoothly. I mean you just can��t beat this at all. I don��t even write reviews as you can probably tell, but I am telling you not to get influenced by the negative reviews. Bunch of tech nerds that are upset over something that is outrageously nitpicky for an effin system that costs fractions of what other ecosystems are charging. Seriously�� acting like they paid thousands of dollars for this. I am telling you, I am inpatient with this stuff, I have very little wiggle room for error and flaws but I do keep a realistic mindset when im buying a hun for $40 and a lock fir $70��. Keep in mind any other smart lock is gonna run $200. Hubs are anywhere from $50-300 depending on how much money you want to waste. This is flawless for the price point. Absolutely exceptional, and I am not looking back. Even linking everything as we speak to HomeKit via HomeBridge.
